On 11 April 2018, it was announced that Dannic had been internally chosen by the broadcaster to represent Romania with the song "Stay" featuring Inna.

At Mediterraneanvision[]

Romania performed fifth in the grand final, following Algeria and preceding Vatican City. Romania came 3rd in the final, scoring 171 points.
